Prayer Request
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I humbly ask for your prayers for Candy Jones. She has been experiencing dementia-like symptoms for months and is currently in the hospital. She had to be transferred to another hospital due to a severe case of shingles on her face near her eye, as well as intense diarrhea. Please pray for her healing and for the doctors to find the true cause of her symptoms, especially if it is not dementia. She recently had a severe UTI, and if left untreated, it could contribute to these issues. I pray that God lays His healing hands upon her and restores her health in the name of Jesus.
I also ask for prayers for my dad, Michael, a disabled Vietnam veteran who has been doing his best to care for Candy. He struggles with severe back pain and sciatic nerve issues, which caused him to fall multiple times last week, even hitting his head. He is under a great deal of stress and likely not getting much sleep. Please pray for his healing, that his pain may be eased, and that he finds strength and comfort in the Lord. May he be healed in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Lastly, I ask for prayers that Candy’s family steps up and helps with her care. It is heartbreaking that they have not been involved in supporting their own mother. May God move their hearts to do what is right.
